I dunno about that, but when I was very lonely on Friday nights I'd watch The Muppet Show. If I felt that I needed a food fix I'd get out to the original Buddy's Pizza on Conant near 7 mile for a Detroit Pizza. Well before wings were invented.
I made a fancy turkey and havarti sandwich for lunch today, but I left it in my fridge at home and now I am starving during my lunch break. LOL.

It won't be there for very long once I'm home.

It will taste all the better when you get home! Deferred gratification :)

What a rich sandwich! That is why I enjoying preparing turkey for Thanksgiving . . . leftover turkey for sandwiches, casseroles, and soups. I don't discard the carcass until I use it for turkey broth.
My back hurts but at least now I have reached the point where I no longer feel the need to utter four letter words when a pain spasm comes.
So the sex trafficking “massage spa” half a block away from my office finally got shut down by the police. About bloody time.
My boss is now willing to negotiate a new schedule for me with longer shifts and fewer days, meaning less time per week on that horrid commuting experience.

What's your feeling about this? It's hard for bosses these days. You could probably do just as well somewhere else. However, you would have to be emotionally ready to make that jump.

My boss is apparently willing to consider this for the time being. No yes or no answer yet. She also offered to buy me a new office chair with better back supports using the office funds.
Friends are encouraging me to quit my job and move ASAP, family and coworkers are telling me to keep my job and stay, I am more inclined to listen to my friends now.

Boy, a narcissist and musical genius. But definitely Kanye has bipolar, that results in grandiose feelings. I have encountered that in my ex.
Death seems preferable to keeping up how I have been. Now is the time for me to put my foot down and make changes in my life.

Sounds like you are choosing living... a life of growth and change toward happier. You can do it. Keep moving forward. Wishing for encouraging winds at your back.
I feel like going to Buffalo Wild Wings and having a large plate of spicy goodness. Maybe I’ll bribe one of my friends into driving me there by offering to buy him some.
Life, to me, is made up of a job I dislike, a commute I dislike, and lots of television watching and game playing. I want a drastic change to break all of this up. This is not living.

Sorry you were at that point. How much of life are you missing out on? Stuck in emeshment patterns of family BS?

It's scary to step out of ourselves, but, l am here to tell you, l moved across the entire coast. It was scary and rough, but l survived. And l am in my 60's now. I am so glad l did this.

@Metalhead, you will find your resilience, I know you will. Things look grim right now, but they will not always be this way. You can rise and get back to good.
I wish I had a jaccuzi, a massage chair, heated seats on public transit, my own private massage therapist, a winning Powerball ticket to afford all of this is the key I need.
I wish I could afford legitimate massage therapy right now.

Thai massage. They are so great. Or warm stone massage. One place put stones on back, then kneaded with the stones.
I wish I had a massaging chair at home. A heated massaging chair. That would be very nice.

I have a kinda massage cushion thing you fix to a chair. It has roller things in it that spin and are heated too. It's ok, probably not as good as a proper massage chair but it's good if you are on a budget :)
