    I have a shelf full of dog breed encyclopedias and I have memorized every breed standard! Plus I could name every dog breed by the time I was 4… it really helped me pass my professional dog training certificate program and knowledge assessment!! (I am CPDT-KA)

    How were you ghosted? It's not a pleasant feeling, but you have to shift perspective and think what they might have had going on at that moment in time. I'm often away with the faeries and don't notice all sorts going on around me. You can always extend an olive branch and see if they reply to you in the near future. If not - then again, this isn't the behaviour of a true friend.

    Lviv is an official UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kyiv used to have lots of tsar-era buildings outside the central core which was destroyed in WW2. It was a really beautiful country, and the people were pro-Western to the point that learning English was mandatory in primary school. No, I never was able to visit, and never will, but I've read a lot over the past two weeks.

    And we humans are so funny. So much song and dance about different ethnicities in our species, but when it's different breeds of dogs, we go "oooh, aaah" - why can't everyone appreciate the beauty and diversity among people like they can with dogs etc?

    They say that the weather takes 3 weeks to travel from the US to Europe. It's actually true. Hopefully I will be able to shed some clothes then.

    Intermittent fasting does not anorexia make--In my case, it started with typical autism stuff (issues w eating) and then turned into "hey this actually is not too bad."

    We eat way too much meat, way too much processed starches, and we do way too little, in this country. It's kind of an everybody problem. So don't feel too bad.

    If you have a bottle of Tabasco in the kitchen you can put that stuff on Goldfish--or Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce works pretty great on them too. Good trick for when the craving for odd flavors arrives.

    They weren't female friends then. Real friends shouldn't behave like that.

    Don't overthink it. Just go with your gut. When your minds overworking just be mindful of surroundings, sensations. Tell yourself you'll worry about it all another day. If the visualisations really won't go away, then swap the outcome from your fears to the best possible conclusion.

    Enjoy the friendship and take and give from it without having high or any expectations. I havent had friends in a long time but I know that if things don’t work out, just enjoy the friendship in the moment.

    Enzo just got in a fight with another male dog :/ He’s okay but I’m a bit annoyed. The other dog was running around loose and disobeying.

    Dog we had growing up we got at 8 weeks. We knew she was crazy as could be, and was a handful to keep up with. So we kept her on a leash and made sure that she didn't get away too much.

    I hate dogs but that was the best dog I've ever seen and she makes me want another dog. Worst thing she got up to (apart from ruining stuff around the house) was jumping into the neighbors' car and expecting to be taken for a ride.

    The thing was, since she was a very pretty dog, people wanted to pet her--but she was one-family to the core (blue heeler/ACD) and considered us the herd.
    Since we acknowledged her capacity for pure anarchy we never had a lot of trouble keeping her on her best behavior, and she lived to an old age and never bit anyone or their pets.

    My dogs are all one-person dogs too. Friendly and social with strangers for the most part but loyal and affectionate to me and only me. Lol

    Hang in there. Those people are only producing clicks--Tiny bits of dopamine--The next minor thrill to relieve the boredom of their own existence. You, on the other hand, are training useful dogs--at a professional level. I think you & the dogs win this round.
