Rambling on Daisy Jones and the Six

I am obsessed despite the shortcomings of this show. Despite that it doesn't give that 70s feeling. Like, Daisy and Billy writing all these songs for each other, constantly seeing through each other's feelings, AND somehow performing them on stage while HATING each others guts and how the other makes them feel.

It's like i can't even watch this while not getting overwhelmed. How did they do it?
How did they manage to sing on the same stage overwhelmed by their feelings for each other, and stay in the same vicinity even?

I now understand Stevie Nicks' solo stuff a little better. Healing from drug abuse, as much as that emotional rollercoaster with Lindsey. Returning to normal life, after the glitter fades.

I haven't read the book but I watched the show cause my best friend recommended it to me. And im obsessed! There are some things I didn't loved but the tension and the drama ??? cheff kiss
As you said, them being able to deal with their emotions and to transforme those into art while the person causing you so much sterss is in the same room.
Also, I can't stop listen the album

Yaaayy another fan! I was not expecting to love it so much, since i dont think it could match the intensity of the Stevie-Lindsey relationship it was based on (also didn't read the book, but the writer did say she was inspired by fleetwood mac so!)

But i loved the characters just the same! Not watching the Last episode since i dont want it to end haha.

When I watched the last episode i was bawling my eyes out because I wasn't ready for it to end haha

I was told that besides of the obvious reference to Fleetwood Mac, the author also took inspiration from the divorce of Joy Williams and John Paul White. Their album is called The Civil Wars as well as the band, and it's about their relationship coming to its end, similar to Rumors
