Your life hack is or philosophy is?
Mine philosophy to date is l am on a bus ride. Some employers, boyfriends, landlords, friends jump on my bus and ride, others flip me the finger and refuse a seat.
What is your life hack?

Mine is similar to @Rodafina

1. Keep an open mind and have intellectual curiosity. The more I know, the more questions I have.

2. You cannot depend upon anyone, any entity, or anything. Be prepared to just do it yourself, no matter how difficult it is nor how much discomfort you will experience. If you receive help, consider it a blessing and be thankful, but do not expect it nor put yourself in a dependent position.

Don't quit five minutes before the miracle. Something I learned in AA. So many people quit out of frustration when they are nearly over the hump. You just have to hang on a bit longer and you've got it. I have learned resilency and self-confidence from this over time.

The other thing is don't fear mistakes. If you're not screwing up then you're not growing. We need to make mistakes to become better at what we do and better as people.

A hack I learned about 6 years ago

To clean a jar of peanut butter:

Put in a little bit of dish soap
Add warm water about 2/3rds full
Put the cap back on and shake the jar for about 15 seconds
Rinse it out
This almost always gets me a clean and clear jar of peanut butter for recycling.

Always remember that the sunshine always follows the rain. Of course, the rain always follows the sunshine, so use your descretion.

If I don't think for myself, then I'm just a parasite and a codependent, collective hivemind of whatever singular person or vast group of persons. I'd not be an individual "me." I'd just be "them."

...and...

When there are no more questions left to ask....then I won't have anything left to learn.

Whew...it took me hours to think about this one. But I think I came up with something that truly is "central to my being":

Avoid ideological thinking. Use ideas while they work- but never, ever "marry" them.

The world and its sentient occupants are inherently dynamic. Always changing. Nothing lasts indefinitely, no matter how good or bad it may be at a given point in time. That when something does go bad, you either must fix it, or replace it outright.
