The space between my ears. A.K.A. My imagination. It might be hell in there, but at least my characters can try to do something about it.

I concur. This attitude makes it easy to feel every environment decent.
I don't have any favorite place anymore. Can't really remember what has ever been like that, maybe supply room at my childhood house. Now it can be ok at everywhere if I forget about space and time. Woods near river shore at dark time can be alluring.

A record store called Rasputin Records, the beach, the mountains, my grandma's house... pretty much anywhere but home. I don't have issues with my parents, it's just that sometimes just staying here puts me in a bad mood.

Oh, and I also love being at Skywalk, a warehouse building with trampolines. :bounce:

Here's another favorite place of mine: Ohio Pass, between Gunnison and Crested Butte, CO.

Gorgeous. I don’t recall ever being there. I’ve been to Denver and Colorado Springs, but that was 40 years ago.

To be honest, I've only ever flown through Denver and driven through Colorado Springs. There are just so many incredibly beautiful places out that way...in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah...I really want to go back this summer.

If I'm in Arlington National Cemetery, I'd definitely pay a visit to the grounds. It's a place with peace, honor and dignity.

It's worth the visit. There is a lot of history there, as well as being a place of honor. It's also the final resting place of my great uncle. He was a major and served in WWII and Korea.

My best friend's father is actually laid to rest there. Air Force Master Sergeant Gerald A. Rhodes. 20 yrs in the Air Force. ALL of it in SAC

when she called me to tell me he had passed (well, TECHNICALLY he was murdered by the nursing home he was in...) I made her my top priority, and I was by her side whenever it came to dealing with something in regards to her father. I made SURE that we contacted the Patriot Guard Riders to ensure he got the honors he deserved. They escorted us from the Funeral Home in Arlington Tx (I was actually on the back of one of the lead bikes which I thought was rather fitting), to DFW International to the cargo terminal where he was loaded on the American Airlines cart that's reserved especially for Military remains and flown to VA. We got on a flight out of love field in Dallas and flew to VA by way of Southwest Airlines. Sadly her family (2 sisters) couldn't make the funeral, so it was just her and I at Arlington National Cemetery

We were close before but that brought us even closer, and I must say being able to do that for her...was a true honor.

I love the Botanical Gardens and the Prairie!! I also love the springs around here.
