Are there any words you particularly like? Whether it's the meaning, the spelling, or it's just a word you like to say, whatever.

I like words where the "-is" ending turns into "-es" in the plural. Like Axis/ Axes, Basis/ Bases, Thesis/ Theses... or my favorite, Oasis/ Oases.

I also like the word "meow" because it reminds me of cats :3
 
Cake - hearing that always puts some good imagery in my head and makes me happy. On a side note, it also reminds me of the 1997 comedy series Brass Eye (which parodied current affairs news) as one of its episodes talked about drugs; the joke been about a new "killer drug" from Prague called "Cake".

Nincompoop - I don't know why, but every time I hear this insult it always makes me laugh. I'm so childish. :D

Begins with an "F" and ends with a "k". It's my "go to" word whenever I loose my emotional composure. It's quite a versatile word for me. Use it in a phrase,..."For [the word to which I referred....] sake!" is one of my favorites,...or can be used in a seemingly infinite amount of contexts.

Some have claimed that cursing is a sign of higher intelligence,...if that's the case, I must be a genius. :D:p
 
My friend got a lot of meme words stuck in my head, and they've become verbal tics for a very long time since.

I love long words, too. I have a sentence memorized for when people accuse me of using too many big words:

I'm not normally so loquacious or garrulous - I prefer to be laconic - but I do like sequipedalianisms in some of my more lexiphanic pronouncements.

Reminds me of Scottish comedian Billy Connolly talking about his use of "[that word] off" - joking about how he's never found the "English" equivalent for it and that the English equivalent isn't "Go away".
