Very sad news IMO, but the poor man was battling Alzheimer's for years before he sadly passed away.

The original 1971 Willy Wonka movie was iconic and one of his best known roles.

I liked just about everything he was in. He was in a little known movie called "The Frisco Kid" with Harrison Ford. I've not met too many people that have actually seen it:
