Why are sales of men's clothes less affected by atypical weather than women's or children's?

Vikings and Rus wore tunics

They did wear pants with that, but sometimes they just went butt naked. ;)

These days when I see men in Scotland wearing kilts, I don't think it's the weather they're concerned with.

They're making a very deliberate, but different kind of statement. ;)
