When you're attracted to someone, how do you act around them?

How does someone with autism or Aspergers act when they like someone, like having a crush? I'm sure this does happen, although not often.
 
I usually just hold it in and don't let the other person in on those feelings. That usually doesn't lead to anywhere because of it lols.
 
I am dreadful. I can barely look at the guy. I am hyper aware of him being in the room. My words are rushed when I have to talk to him and I blush horribly.

It is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in the world.

I say: "I am", despite being married, because it never went away; just know that it still exists.
 
I just try to hold it in so they can't tell.
But, if they initiate a conversation, I feel awkward
and I'm sure I blush a lot.
 
I had a crush on my neighbors years ago and I always took pictures of them... lol in school I would act kind of harsh to those that I liked. I’m not entirely sure why it just came as a natural reaction to me. To my surprise a few of those crushes turned into relationships for a few months.

Interesting that you would act harsh to those you liked
as I may relate to the reason.

Did you have any internal feelings of resentment towards
them because you liked them?

I didn't date until I was in my 20's.
First boyfriend experience at 23.
After going with him to a party, I had my first physically close experience in the form of dancing and a kiss on the cheek that night.
I felt I was developing a crush or "in love" feeling for him
which after a short period of time I actually started
to resent.
For some reason I felt allowing this feeling was
a type of weakness. I'd never felt it before, why should
I now? I'm doing fine on my own without this coming
into my life which could get complicated.
So, I started treating him rather harse on purpose
to put him off and feel I was in control of my emotions.
Needless to say, the relationship didn't last very long.

Just wondered if you might have had the same inner
feelings.
