I left hospital last thursday and getting better and better. Today, I got up and am staying up, so each day has been a progression.

I cannot stomach that much water, but do drink coffee and what they refer to as tisan in France, which is an infusion of herbes. My coffee, coffee lovers would say is a disgrace lol as I only have a few grains and a little honey.

Same here mine looks like very very light brown milk I've bought another jar of coffee to support fair trade as Brexit has meant they could be shafted by big business .
Does tisane cause Gas if you drink it ?thanks

Yes I was a size 10 and now size 26 it's been 11 years its still unnerving

I was perplexed and rather disheartened that when I weighed myself this morning, my weight has not budged since before the operation. Not obese, but certainly overweight still. So, the question is: why is my waist diminishing and yet my weight is not? So, I looked it up and got the "ahh" moment. In fact, it is good sign that I am diminshing around my waist, because I am building muscle, which is why I am not losing weight and this apparently is brillant.

I put on a size 14 skirt and nearly cried. Getting there, but not quite, so I looked up the measurements for waist and laughed. I have been mistaking my waist size for european. In actual fact, size 39 is a size 16 and why my skirt does not fit quite yet. So, I must have been around your size now!

It is your gallbladder that is causing the weight gain, Streetwise and if you suffer from acid regurgitation, that is a leakage from your gallbladder, because since mine was removed, I have no more acid. I have heartburn, but in comparions, it is a lot more managable.

I have my coffee black.

No, not at all. But I have such sensitive taste buds, that any taste lingers and so, I can never do tasters and some drinks make me feel a bit sick.

The only gas right now, is from when the blew my tummy up, to work with more clearly.

No I don't get reflux it just travels from my stomach out of my anus

It's not Weight gain as much as I can't rid myself of gas so the distension in my torso makes me size 26

It is still your gallbladder to blame though.

I had to have mine drained, before they took it out. I was shocked on waking up, to find a tube coming out of my belly lol and since then, found it was because my gallbladder was in such a terrible way, that it was going to cause me trouble with my very life. I am so relieved that I agreed to the surgery and that it is over.
