There is no excuse for existence. Unless you count whimsicality.

What's your excuse for missing school when everybody
had to get weighed, height documented, and photo
taken for ID tags for school security?

What's your excuse for keeping a pet llama in your bedroom?
 
Because I fell in a cheap perfume vat whilst protesting at the low price of cheap perfume that enables so many to buy it and apply it.

What's your excuse for not fitting in with the expectations of others?
 
I’m not a mind reader, so if they don’t tell me their expectations, I don’t know what to aim for.

You didn’t send me an icecream cake in the post for my birthday this year. Why not?
