What was the last thing you cooked?

Potato soup for lunch.

Nowhere near as good as what my mother used to make, but with each attempt it's getting better. Though I'm not apt to make it hours ahead of time and let it simmer so long as Mom used to do.

Greek chicken shish kabobs on the grill. Served with fresh butterbeans (baby lima beans), fresh steamed broccoli, and basmati rice cooked in chicken stock.

Had a frozen spaghetti dinner last night. Out of the box it's pretty dull as most frozen foods are.

However I cook a quarter-pound of ground beef prior to putting the spaghetti dinner in the oven. At the halfway mark (20 minutes) in the oven, I take it out and add the ground beef chopped up, some parsley and five scoops of thick vegetable style spaghetti sauce.

When it's ready, it gets doused with parmesan cheese. THEN it actually makes a decent dinner.
