What video game are you currently playing?

I have been playing Pokemon Legends: Arceus. I am trying to complete my pokedex. I am to the point where none of the pokemon I need are ones that I can just go find and catch. They all require annoying evolutions or they rarely appear. I remember now why I never get above 90% completion on these games. I had fun playing the main story with this one though.
I just transferred the ones that I was missing except Arceus

I may end up doing that. I am pretty close now though. My son helped me out by trading haunter and machoke back and forth to get gengar and machamp.

I am trying to make a living Pokédex (every kind of Pokémon in storage at once). Things would be a bit easier if I didn't insist that they all live in regular balls and have me as the original trainer. I am also keeping alpha Pokémon separate and not in the living Pokédex so I had to catch the ones that are only available as alphas as their lower evolutions and evolve them.

So far, I rate the difficulty of completing the Pokédex in this game a lot easier than previous ones, but it still isn't exactly easy. Most of the ones I need only appear in the space-time distortions and it is time consuming to wait for those to appear. On the other hand there is only one version of the game, so trading for the version exclusive ones isn't needed. The vendor that sells evolution items is also much appreciated and should be in all Pokémon games.

Legends ZA is the final game that players can use to make a living Dex without the 3DS as the five missing lines from the Switch games are now in this one.

I have absolutely loved playing Astroneer and have amounted to some 1,000 hours playtime. But I'm currently playing Ball X Pit, and today my nephew bought me Arc Raiders to play with him. It's actually really good but without the hassle of having to be careful and watching your back. There's very little grief from other players.

I was trying to play through Wolfenstein: Youngblood in co-op with my friend, but unfortunately it's not going to happen. The game keeps crashing on me constantly. I thought it was odd that it was only crashing on me and not my friend, I thought maybe it was because I was the host and she was using the friend's pass, but that had nothing to do with it. It turns out why it was crashing is simply because the game has compatibility issues when played on Switch 2. I don't know why the game wouldn't have warned me about that when I downloaded it because then I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Besides that, that same friend and I have completed Diablo IV's campaign mode and I'm going through solo to wrap up any remaining side missions we didn't get to. I'm also playing through Super Mario Galaxy on Switch 2. It's really lame of Nintendo to not have the save data of SMG from Super Mario 3D All-stars carry over into the standalone game, so now I had to start over from scratch.

I just finished Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty DLC. Great game after all, though during first few hours of "gigs" initially gave me a feeling "Wtf, is this piece of (censored) really a game from the people who made Witcher 3?" Especially Phantom Liberty's ending felt just great as it was the only ending where V would be able to grow old, but in a very bitter sweet manner.

Then I tried Kingdom Come - Deliverance and I was put off immediately: No unlimited saving, the game don't save after finishing individual objectives, the fighting system is a mess, first few lines with mother and father sounded like a traditional RPG-dialogue (people don't speak naturally, but in a quest giver manner)...

After trying to understand the sword practice and fist fight during first tutorial quests, I noticed that the character don't seem to do what it is ordered to do. I understand that I select direction of the attack with the mouse, but when punches are supposed to go? I keep pressing mouse key and then release, nothing. I try to just click when it is time hit, nothing... Only random swings seem to happen when ever the game decides so, while the attacker is constantly grabbing me and kicking me around if I go even near him.

After fifteen minutes I got so frustrated that I decided to skip the whole game and move to other games.

What I am missing with the fighting mechanics? Is rest of the game worth of playing (storywise), if I just would learn that goddamn fighting?

Never mind... Apparently it is not supposed to be a tutorial fight, more like a tutorial about how to choose your fights. Other fight sequences work fine. It is just a common sense thing that kid with no combat training gets his butt kicked. Nice touch, but the game didn't seem to put too much effort to signal a realistic take - except some mentions in gaming tips that no-one reads 😊

Wow. ARC Raiders, less than a week and already at 50 hours.
Solo is really good, PVE and very little PVP. In fact PVP is mostly players helping one another.

Side note: I used to apologise to NVP's that I hit/shot by accident. That's how strong my "moral rigidity" is. I'm much more flexible these days, but it takes effort to convince me otherwise. Sorry but I was raised catholic and that dogma is real.
