I must admit, I actually prefer Dickey Betts' guitar playing in the Allman Brothers. I don't know why, his guitar playing seems a lot more under control than Duane Allman. I guess this could be considered "blasphemy" to some Allman Brothers fans... But that's kinda silly, because my preference in no way denounces Duane Allman's guitar playing ability (preferring one thing over another automatically meaning you think other thing is bad as far as some people are concerned is a rant for another time and place).

Dickey Betts is just one of my favourite guitarists of all time.

Psy-trance and other electronic music seems to stimulate my brain well. Gets thoughts moving. Keeps me awake for longer, wakes me up. etc. After a while it becomes hard to do things when it isn't playing.

Dickey Bettes is not to be trifled with, for sure. Definitely my favorite Allman Brothers cuts are those where they share the guitar work. They seem to make nice foils for each other's styles. "One Way Out" and, of course, the clip of "Whipping Post" that I included. I can't say I am quite as big a Dickey Bettes as you when it came to his performing solo, but no doubt he and Duane together produced what I think are the best-sounding guitar works ever committed to tape.

this is floor jansen the most awesome voice in metal music ever, singing for my favorite band nightwish. floor is freaking amazing. i pre ordered their new live concert showtime story time out december. i cant wait to listen to it. :) its going to be awesome. i love nightwish.
