what did you do/going to do today?

Well, I mowed the front lawn and did a little bit of trimming. Made an attempt on the backyard, when the mower's engine refused to turn (which is unusual, because it's new and hasn't done that before). So now, I'm eating lunch and when I've digested a little, I'll take my dog for a nice long walk, while listening to a podcast.

I woke up at about 9:30, which is a great time for me, since I suffer from low energy. I texted a girl I've been talking to, cleaned up the house a little & watched Firefly. I might drive up (Yeah, I got a car recently xD) to Dairy Queen for a bite to eat, and I have an appointment with a sleep counselor today to talk about my various sleep issues. I'll also be petsitting my mom's dog from today until about Monday! :D

Went to the art store and bought 3 used paintbrushes. Worked on webpage. Drove to the store then forgot what I went there for, only to remember what I meant to go there for yesterday. Went to used clothing store to buy a new shirt, but couldn't decide which one; made eggs with a tortilla; met up with a potential new friend--it was very uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to leave but WE HAD COFFEE!!!!

Honestly, that actually sounds pretty relatable. Most days aren’t exciting movie scenes, they’re just small routines like buying food, cooking, and looking after pets. But sometimes that quiet rhythm is exactly what makes life feel stable. And hey — two hamburgers fried at home definitely beats a lot of takeout options!
