What are your 4th of July traditions?

I know a lot of people don’t celebrate the 4th, so ignore this if you don’t celebrate. To other people who do, what do you like to do? I alway get some fireworks like sparklers, snakes, and tanks. I like to lit the fire pit and cook some s’mores and hang out with my family and watch the fireworks.

And since it’s my dad’s birthday, we like to make it special for him.

On July 4th, traditionally, I remind everyone about the time I was working in NYC and someone asked me: when does the UK celebrate their independence day...

Don't really have any...
But thinking of starting new ones.. like dumping tea into the bay ...

Having a relaxing paid day off work.

Every 4th I make a special bed in the bathroom for one of my dogs that doesn't like fireworks.

I play music all day, and once dark comes, I put on "dog calming music for fireworks" from youtube, and hide on the couch or in bed. It is an annual tradition.

Work and then hide in the basement with the dog pretending we don't exist.
