The last thing you bought?

I ordered a Le Creuset enameled cast iron lasagna dish in a bright red color. I've never owned a true lasagna pan and have always "made do" with a large rectangular glass casserole dish, but it usually overflows the pan in the oven because it is not deep enough to accommodate 5 or 6 layers of lasagna pasta.

I'll make Italian lasagna or Greek pastitsio when it arrives. Yum.

Went thrift shopping the other day. Too much stuff to list but it was a good haul. My partner likes to collect old things and DIY them.

This basket started out falling apart, with splintery brown wood, an ugly stencil painting on the lid, a ribbon that looked like it was about to rot off, torn fabric lining, and this is what he did with it:

I know it isn't perfect, but he's a contractor and an electrician, not an artist, lol. I absolutely love it though, I think it's beautiful and I think it's so sweet that he wanted to make this for me.

I bought my family groceries... But the fun thing I got last, was a nendoroid of ishikirimaru, making it only my second anime figure. (My other is nanachi from made in abyss.)

Looks to me like that is backwards; he is an artist, but doesn't know it.

I clicked in here expecting to see "vintage bicycle". :)
I've had the old three-speed for years. It's rusty but it gets down the road fine, probably will for the next six owners or 150 years.

My roommate is fond of clocks like me. We spent some time polishing it again and set it up temporarily to try to run the movement, and I think it's never been on the wall before as it came with all the weights still wrapped up.

It is cute but someone broke the hands so I'll be replacing those and oiling the pivots.

I made myself a Monty Python "Silly Walks" clock after I finally found a suitable movement with a second hand for an umbrella.
Yesterday, I went to the lumberyard all resigned to buying a board instead of using sawmill waste, but I found what I needed in their free pile, and got home ten minutes faster.

I adore Monty Python. Always have, always will.

Congratulations on the free timber. I should send you some pictures of what I'm hoping to make as far as green transportation; was able to find a potential end around to import a particular motor. You may like it.
