Our dog had long hair. Babies, as soon as they touch it, tended to grab a handful and pull. Its a natural response they all have to new things. And its really hard to dis-entwine. Our dog was pretty tolerate, but she really didn't appreciate hair being pulled. Luckily, no bites, but it makes me wary of putting babies and dogs together!
