The holidays are upon us, how do you handle the autistic burnout?

I/we took affirmative decisions to do things the way we want to so any social pressure is null and cannot impinge upon our happiness.

Such a healthy decision to make @Autistamatic .

I imagine you and your wife feel so much better for this.

My husband and I opted out of Christmas a few years ago. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made as there's absolutely no stress in the run up to it and the 'holiday' is just spent as if we have a relaxing weekend with no plans. Bliss.
