Requirements :
Two people to watch and commentate whilst watching experiment on screen.
1 lab bod to be in the room witha clipboard.
3 tables
A telephone
Sandwich making materials and equipment.
1 potential autistic person
The experiment :
You have ten minutes to make some sandwiches.
(Think you can handle that autistic loser person)
Sandwiches are nearly done.
The phone rings.
We don't want those sandwiches anymore....
Autistic person gets flustered, makes new sandwiches.
People commentating on the other side of the screen..
'That guy fridge lost his sh*t big time'
It was only a couple of sandwiches...
Well similar thing for the person who actually was there.
They represented it as being resistant to change, executive function problem.
And a test that an autistic person would more likely struggle with.
One way to perhaps get the program.
Use a vpn.
Go to channel4 website and see if it's on there.
Yes, it's frustratingBBC doesn't wanna share.![]()

So.... the sandwiches are made, but the people on the telephone say "we changed our mind, we want a different kind of sandwich and you need to start from scratch." Is that what you're saying? I discovered I was blocked from seeing the program, as well. BBC doesn't wanna share.![]()
That's it precisely.
So autistic less flexible in those circumstances.
That was the idea.
Thank you. I suppose that would irk me, too... but wouldn't it irritate just about anyone?
Also, everyone who has raised children has been in that exact situation at some point, no doubt.
My weirdness with sandwiches has to do with the precision with which I make them. Or remake them. At a restaurant, I'm often still re-engineering mine as others are finishing eating theirs....
But even before that, for me its 'is this a test?'
I don't do tests.
it reminds me of Channel 4 in the early years trying to be controversial actually being a load of crap
thanks for tryingVpn update :
Hidden24 works on pc or laptop
£12 per month.
Most of the others don't work.
Not for devices.
Disappointing programme then, but probably good as a starting point for raising awareness as many people in the general public know a lot less than most who have posted here. Re Neurotribes I found the font and print size ok, I will dig it out and check what it was klmi. Its an interesting read.
I found an alternative solution and have now watched it:Vpn update :
