Text-based adventure game

So here's how this works. We'll make a collaborative text-based adventure game together.

When it's your post, you respond to the post above you by taking an action, then you describe the rest of the room. So for instance:

Post above you: You are in a dark room. In front of you is a dragon. What do you do?

Your post: PET THE DRAGON

You pet the dragon. It picks up up and soars into the clouds. In front of you is a flock of birds, and below you is an airship What do you do?

Make sense?

Ok, I'll start us off.

You awaken lying on a bed in a strange room. You have no memory of how you arrived here. Light flickers from a torch on the wall, and the bed creaks oddly, as if there is something under the mattress. To the WEST is a wooden door. What do you do?

LOOK UNDER MATTRESS

Oh no! There is a Grue under the mattress! If you do not act quickly, you are likely to be eaten by a Grue! (A cookie for anyone who gets that reference, BTW.) Fortunately, the Grue has just awakened from a deep slumber and it is still groggy and disoriented, so that may buy you some time. There is a laptop on a nearby desk (possibly anachronistic considering the torch on the wall and the somewhat medieval appearance of the room), and this page is open in the web browser:

Grue - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia

Might it have any useful information on how to survive an encounter with a Grue?

WHAT DO YOU DO? WHAT DO YOU DO?

(I hope I did this right. :|)

READ UP ON GRUES

Looking at the suggested methods of killing a grue, you're pretty much screwed....at least, until you realize light is one way to do away with the beast. The light from the flickering torch, although dim, should be enough to fend him off should the situation come down to it...or is it? You grab the torch then and move around the room out of curiosity, in a sort of panic as the Grue is slowly waking, and find a hollow wall to the NORTH. It appears to be fragile, which may allow you to break through. Keeping in mind the door to the WEST, what do you do now?

amidoinitrite?
