I was talking to my partner today about how she was feeling depressed, and how it had been like a roller coaster. "I am depressed, I'm not depressed, I am depressed, I'm not depressed..." I likened her speech pattern more to the Little Engine That Could; in other words: A Lack-O-Motive (Locomotive + Lack of Motivation)

PS A Lack-O-Motive is also a train without any concrete connection to a homicide.
