Riddles

Not yet, got home awhile ago, getting something to eat, browsing what's new on here. Need to clear my mind to think of something. It's really difficult for me to do.
 
Ok probably an easy one.

I have family, nemeses, and acquaintances in this life as a vehicle. Many can go off road and through streams as well as I can, if not better. But only I do it by name. What is my name?
 
I am a Ford (truck or SUV). I am capable of going off road and fording a stream.
My family is Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda.
My main nemeses are Chevy and Dodge, possibly others.

Feel free to come up with as many as you want. It's very difficult and time consuming for me to come up with them.

I might not be on so much anyway, my mom developed some major issues last night.
 
I never paid much attention to types of vehicles so that's likely why I would have never thought of it. In fact, I just learn a few things I guess.😅

I’ve got a couple guesses, 2 totally different ways of thinking. First one is from my engineering mind. Is it an arch?
 
My other guess, is it Patriotism? Like what happened after 9/11?
 
Hmm, well my break is about over, maybe tonight I’ll think of more guesses if someone hasn’t figured it out. This is a good one.
 
Can I ask, is it a physical entity that you can touch? Or is it more along the lines of a law, belief, etc. ?
