Seems I found my new calling - putting smooth brain doggo faces onto old photos of the Wehrmacht.

We need a name for this new art style, so it may be given all the favor it is due. My German is a bit rusty. Thank you for brightening up my morning. My one suggestion would be that the meme world will likely venerate you as a sage and a magus if only you might find an appropriate caption for each of your works.....

I applied to a German archive which has tens of thousands of Werhmacht photos. I had to sign legally binding documents to basically ascertain what the images would be used for etc.

Now, I'm not sure if the Germans will be on board for my memes which make a bit of a mockery of the German language, and my light hearted strange puns and wordplay.

Ja oder nein?

I'm hoping for a Ja. But I'm not sure I'll get it.

Bundesarchive replied to my request to use their tens of thousands of Wehrmacht photos to make non-profit memes.

They said it would cost 300 euro per photo to have permission to use them.
