As future proof as I can make it, allowing for plenty of upgrades before I actually have to replace it and, yeah it's a gamer's rig and, probably cost way more than any sane person would spend on a computer but, hey, I can so I did. LOL

LOL aaron infamous That's the way to go. I do it under Windows 10, DAI, TS4, Rift and others all maxed out as well but, then you see the rig, and the cost involved in doing that and, some games still don't play nice with SLI :(

Best graphics wise of my collection is DAI (Dragon Age Inquisition) sweet in engine graphics but, Frostbite engine has a few problems of it's own. It's an FPS engine first and, EA is making it be an RPG engine so, a few problems with things they had to customize in the engine but still, stunning graphics, so good you can see the pores in skin and veins in leaves.

Built 2009 - updated every now and then.
CPU:AMD FX 8350 - 8 core, 4 GHz
RAM:16 GB, DDR4 don't recall the make/model
Hard-drives: Primary hybrid ssd/old school 2 TB - Salvaged drives 300 GB and 160 GB old school
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580

The plan:
switch main HD to SSD - highest priority, - requires OS reinstall, old Main goes to high traffic storage(lesser played games and movies).
RAM to 32 Gb or better.
CPU upgrade would require a new motherboard.
GPU depends on the market.

@Pink Jazz Looked it up off order history -
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH

Not the best but it does the trick for now

I caved in (finally) and bought a 3070TI. Went with Gigabyte, and their top spec one. 1875 Mhz clock speed.

Probably get a new CPU + mobo at the end of this year. 11600K seems best bang for buck. I can use my current RAM, but I'll get a new CPU cooler and PSU as both are 4+ years old.

For now, the GPU upgrade along with my i7 6700K should be more than enough for 1440P gaming. But I know a CPU upgrade will help futureproof the computer.
