Odd coincidences...

I love a coincidence, because it almost fools me into placing more importance on the random things that soar through life, and that, for me at least, is one of the most fun tricks there is, all spooky and what not. So here's my coincidence...

I'm reading an Agatha Christie novel at the moment, called 'By the Pricking of My Thumbs', (a quote from MacBeth if I'm not mistaken, 'by the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this ways comes').

Since I started reading it I've managed to cut/slice both my thumbs, in separate incidents (one picking some jasmine, I have no idea how, and one doing the dishes, again, what the? No Idea how).

I know that 'pricking' back then and in this context probably means something akin to pins and needles, but it still seemed spooky in a cool, wordy way to me when I put it together.

Anyone else collect/like/notice coincidences?
