Maybe this new drug will cure autism?

I have diverticular disease, which is IBS on steroids. I am constantly plagued by bowel upset and chronic diarrhea. I got talked into trying probiotics and it helped, but it was wickedly expensive for the good ones with high CFU counts. They come in liquid form and you keep them refregerated (yogurt is useless). A nutritionist I saw for diabetes got me turned onto fermenting my own kraut. Holy hell, what a difference it made for my health. Bowel upset gone. Diarrhea gone. Quality BMs you can set your watch to. Made me a believer.

I agree the bacteria have a limited shelf life. I start to go sideways within weeks if I am not constantly replenishing my flora with new stock.
I know ßaurkraut works, mentioned on previous threads. Probiotics isn't fair to consumers due to prices without evidence, in my unprofessional opinion.

Use vitamin B complex daily, I never realised it's for gut microbes, thought that was c0Q10
I noticed when vitamin B was finished and only had vit A that I had illness symptoms returning. So I take vitamin AB daily and lot of other supplements as if most Asperger's are anemic, im 10x worse deficient.

Kombucha? Um

Appears various factors affect autism, so curing some co morbid like IBS or fatigue are possible. A complete cure, I think saying more like preventing autism in first place may just be Environ factors.
Seems we may have somewhat choice on cure options.

It offends me when people wish to cure what I regard as having been given a wonderful gift.
I must say not often but at times I wish I had friends, but friends I can relate too. My mother and I used to get on very well, sometimes fight but everyone does. I'm not sure if everyone thinks we social num-num that desire attention but don't fit in, wondering about group meet up to see if I can't find some decent company. Perhaps my son can relate to some of people and just be more normal, happy teen.

but at times I wish I had friends, but friends I can relate too.
I just find groups of people who share my interests, do things with them, and come away with unexpected friends. When I look for fun I end up having friends, but when I go looking for friends I end up having no fun.

Sorry if that didn't make sense. Most of my life doesn't, as it turns out.

Fun, hmmm
I mean relate, conversation, understanding. All the things hide behind the mask.
