How I show it:
- physical touch
- taking care of someone when sick/struggling/just because I want to
- showing interest in them and being supportive
- spending time together
- telling them I love them
- talking about my hobbies and interests
- openly showing my hobbies and interests (I otherwise hide usually what I am doing/watching/reading out of fear to be judged)
- behaving naturally, wearing headphones, reading while doing other things, dancing around

Ways I like to be shown love:
- asking me about my day, my hobbies and interests
- telling me they love me
- cuddling/hugging
- respecting my (physical) boundaries
- showing understanding and support when I'm struggling, descending into an anxiety spiral, struggling with daily tasks, etc
- supporting me when I'm overstimulated/overloaded without judging
- initiating time spent together (holidays, trips, concerts, etc)

Doing the most mundane things together and having fun. Making each other smile and laugh, and enjoying silence. Showing respect for their choices, understanding that their control needs may have nothing to do with me. Heal their inner child wounds so that our relationship blossoms. Be understanding with commitment issues we may both struggle with.

Show: Patiently helping my S.O. deal with age related physical & mental issues.

Receive: A person says "Thank you," and means it.

Is this thread supposed to be referring to anyone that you care about or strictly within romantic relationships?

I'm all about love. I'm thinking about love and trying to express myself through love. When I talk, eat, sleep, or do anything, it's filled with love. I'm breathing love. Even when I do something embarrassing, I feel love there too. I'm in therapy, learning how to manage these feelings in a healthy way.

Specific ways I express love are when I help or support other people, when I learn about myself and take care of myself, and when I'm cuddling with my kids and sometimes with my wife.

Going to sleep is my favorite time. I have bamboo pajamas, and I love the sensation of them touching my body. I'm wearing a diaper, and that makes me feel full of love and secure. I use a weighted blanket with bamboo sheets, which makes me feel very loved. I used to have a doll that I slept with and felt so loved by, but I outgrew that. In the morning, I have my best time of the day when I physically feel like I'm giving out love as I drink my coffee and let my diaper naturally fill with urine and feces and by sitting in it for over an hour every day makes me feel like I'm a part of love.
