looking for other eccentrics

Hi I'm looking for other eccentrics like me to talk with. Life should be colourful, don't you think?

What do you mean by eccentrics? That's very subjective. I consider myself eccentric but that could have a completely different meaning to someone else. Maybe I'm too literal and that's why your post isn't making sense to me. Colorful as in knowing lots of people? Liking a lot of different activities? Learning about as many different cultures as you can?

I suppose I mean people who are unique and aren't afraid to show it

I'm unusual and I don't know how to hide it, so I guess I decided to take the route of being more "out" and humorously pointing to the things that the more closed-minded might consider problematic before they try to use them against me.

You are one of Gods creations. One of the more colourful ones. Be yourself, don't worry about the rest.

This sounds bad but... I don't see anyone as, "unique," at all. Our eccentricities can be explained by psychology/psychiatry with emphasis on our background and personal experiences. All we can do is hope to find and surround ourselves with people that are like-minded and appreciate us for who we are. But... Unique is not something, in my opinion, that describes human cognition. Most of our personality traits are typical of our personality types; bottom line. Each of us have our own different and therefor unique journey, but when our past is put into context with our behavior and cognition.... It's not unique. It's predictable.

This is typical for someone with Aspergers. In my opinion. It's nicely put though.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

I like to consider myself a very unique person. This big old ball of dirt and rock isn't big enough for two of me yet :D

Every human is individually unique from genetics to outside influences ;)

Eccentric, stubborn with a bit of diva in me, but hey, I'm allowed. I've paid my dues, done my time to get here, I can live it my way and, no one had better so much as raise an eyebrow about it either.

Yeah hard rockin' country girl that loves her animals, dislikes people in general and, will happiuly wear a red sequined sweater and black tack pants around the house because I simply like them, even if the fancy sweater doesn't go with the track pants. (Yes that's what i'm wearing today because I can stay in all day today.)
