What do you mean by eccentrics? That's very subjective. I consider myself eccentric but that could have a completely different meaning to someone else. Maybe I'm too literal and that's why your post isn't making sense to me. Colorful as in knowing lots of people? Liking a lot of different activities? Learning about as many different cultures as you can?Hi I'm looking for other eccentrics like me to talk with. Life should be colourful, don't you think?

This is typical for someone with Aspergers. In my opinion. It's nicely put though.I'm unusual and I don't know how to hide it, so I guess I decided to take the route of being more "out" and humorously pointing to the things that the more closed-minded might consider problematic before they try to use them against me.
This sounds bad but... I don't see anyone as, "unique," at all. Our eccentricities can be explained by psychology/psychiatry with emphasis on our background and personal experiences. All we can do is hope to find and surround ourselves with people that are like-minded and appreciate us for who we are. But... Unique is not something, in my opinion, that describes human cognition. Most of our personality traits are typical of our personality types; bottom line. Each of us have our own different and therefor unique journey, but when our past is put into context with our behavior and cognition.... It's not unique. It's predictable.
