Finished moving all my computer components from an older case to a newer one. Of course the newer one is technically not "new" at all, given it has three 5.25 drive bays for my DVD/RW and removable SSDs. However it allows for better cooling and airflow with more fans and mesh filters.

Nowadays there's very few case manufacturers offering current designs that allow for 5.25 drive bays. As if there's a rule against having any kind of CD or DVD disc players in computers...lol. Go figure. I may not archive data using optical disks, but I still reserve the option of playing DVDs and CDs on my computer.

I helped carry heavy boxes and since I am feeling a bit hypomanic, I think people thought I was weird. (Fast walking while toting heavy boxes with a Cheshire grin on my face and frequently giggling and then skipping and twirling in a circle and such in between carrying them. Once even offering to shake hands with a tree limb that tried to hit me) I used to get that way when sorting boxes off of the truck at work. It's weird how many suspicious looks you can get while being helpful. I know the way people act about me will cycle back around to making me feel a bit sad if like usual, but right now it's genuinely funny.

Pulled grass from the garden
(short four or five inches long, tender) and
gave to some chickens.

Somewhat literally drove down Memory Lane. I drove around an area where I used to spend a lot of time. The sights and smells of the place conjured some old memories and strong feelings.

I went to the Asian food store and bought 20 pounds of basmati rice. I'll divide the rice among my kids and my sister because that's a lot of rice!

I love basmati rice, especially with spicy chicken recipes, apparently it is also healthier than regular rice.

I don't know if it's healthier than other kinds of rice in general, but it contains less arsenic than rice grown in the USA, except maybe in parts of California. I stopped buying American rice many years ago because it is loaded with arsenic.
