Took a second truck load of stuff I don't want or don't need to the Army of Salvation and can now walk through the garage, mostly.

I think most of the rest of the stuff in the garage will exit via a dumpster.

I've been pretty busy for significant portions of the day the past few days caring for my dog post surgery.

I made a peach pie yesterday with beautiful Chilton County, Alabama fresh peaches. I think it overflowed the pie pan and dripped onto the bottom of the oven because the house reeks of burnt sugar! The pie is delicious with just enough sweetness to enjoy eating it.

We picked purple hull peas and okra early this morning at my friend's enormous vegetable garden. Husband is shelling the peas now and I'm going to slice the okra and freeze it. It's summer here and time to pick, process and preserve all kinds of vegetables and fruit.

I hauled buckets of water to the horse trough and checked the fence during a rain storm.⛈️🤠🐎
