'Like' button

It may just be me, but I often feel the need to express more than just 'Like' to someones post without necessarily posting a comment, for example, 'Know exactly what you mean', 'sympathy', 'disagree', 'dislike'. Is there any chance anyone else 'sympathises'?

Hmm yeah. The red hearts reads more of 'I love this' or 'I love you' lol. There should be a 'Like' option too.

I really like some things, or extra like things. However, a dislike would be negative and possibly hurtful. But I do like your ideas.

Idk how the new 'like' thing works yet - haven't tried it out yet - but I like the idea! Sometimes i don't really know what to say or just want to say 'i agree' and liking a post would work well for that i think.

I'm new to this site, so pardon a dumb question. I seem to have lost the ability to "like" others' postings. Also, I noticed my profile no longer counts "like" but lists "Karma." These two things seemed to have happened around the same time. Can someone fill me in on what happened and what this means. I miss the ability to "like" stuff. Thanks!

Hi and welcome. (Excuse my weird username lol) You should have an option of different coloured symbols on the right hand side of each post. It's slightly faint, though. if you scroll over them with the mouse, it should brighten up and give you the option to 'Like' a status, etc.

All of the rating icons except Disagree (neutral) add 1 point. Karma is the total score of all those points from all your posts combined.
