Last thing that scared you

Last thing that scared me was a couple nights ago with the windstorm. I hate windstorms and we get them often. Every wind gust makes my stress/anxiety surge. Got woken up by the sound of metal crashing. Turned out my storm door just about got ripped off. The wind guard chain got torn off in all 3 places and was on the ground, and the pump bracket got torn out of the door frame. Only thing that saved it was the snow shovel got blown over, and the door wedged itself against that.

That was a common accusation when I was little. I was a bubbly chatterbox when I was little but had to learn to keep my mouth shut much of the time so as to not infuriate my Dad. After I learned to be quiet I started being accused of being a snob, a danger, etc. Back to the incident with the saw, thankfully it missed me.
If you feel like you are in danger from your father, please call the police and be safe.

I had to re-start my computer yesterday, and it took an hour. The backups are now current. :-/
