My dad had a reel to reel when I was young. I wish I appreciated it more then, although I did enjoy putting on the massive headphones onto my tiny little ears. Too bad we replaced it with a CD player in the 90s.

Yeah I agree . I was never much of a fan of cassette tapes because of sound quality, but reel to reel sounds amazing in my opinion
