Junk Drawer!

When we bought our boat there were a couple of large packs of infant diapers in the head.

I could just see David Frost commenting on your post:

"If the ship had a head, why was there a need for diapers? :p

Assuming what an old sailing ship's "head" really was. Where the crew just hung it over the bow. ;)

A small plastic thing that at some point fell off something in your home, but no one can identify it, impossible to find out what it is. You don`t want to throw it away, because maybe some day you will figure out where it belongs. But you never do. :)

Does anyone have a junk room? Also known as a catchall. It`s just like a junk drawer but bigger. Mine started as a drawer, but it is now a room. The last time I was in there I think I heard wildlife rustling, it`s out of control, I`m afraid to open the door now.

I don't as do not have enough rooms :) but I know people who do/did have such a room. They usually do not want help with it. Do you mind the existence of that room?

I mind a little :) It`s out of control, I once got lost in there. I should fix it, it`s supposed to be an extra bedroom.

I have a junk drawer in every room. Living room one has batteries, cords, remotes and pens. Kitchen has the ties, hooks, matches, medicine cups and pens. Bedroom has old jewelry pieces, keychains and pens. You never know where you'll be when you need a pen. (Plenty in my purse, too).

Yep, our cellar is a junk room :D And the attic, too. We had a marten up there.

Tent pegs, but you lent the tent to your wino cousin six years ago when he went fishing. You feel bad about not giving him the pegs, but, eh, he was probably too drunk to remember to stake his tent anyway- he was certainly too drunk to remember to bring the tent back from the campground- six years ago.

Now, you keep the pegs around, just in case, but you know, meh, you won't be going camping anytime soon. But, they can be handy sometime or other.
