It's something I've been wondering about, and a thing many people have given me weird looks over and I was wondering if there might be more aspies that have this (because I'm curious if it's a thing that can be linked to sensory problems or something)
Ever since I can remember, I can't stand the feeling of being wet. I'm not scared of water or swimming or so, but I hate swimming and showers are hell to me. The feeling of water just freaks me out and I want to dry myself ASAP to the point that I even try to skip showers sometimes when I don't feel well (my mom usually forces me to) and not having set a foot in any body of water for the past 5 years.
Another amazing quirk is how, if I'm at a beach, I usually just keep all my clothes and shoes on and just read a book, don't want any sand between my toes or anything :/. I still can't figure out why I don't want to wear short pants at all, only long jeans really (I don't mind taking off my shirt but usually just don't).
So just wondering if these are things that sound familiar to others or if I'm the only one that has this.
