iPad2 Vs. GalaxyTab2

I'm inclined to go with the ipad over the galaxy pad.

I'm not to impressed with android as a general (own a small tab with Android currently) and ipad has a lot of nice apps I'd like to try out. Especially the music creation apps. Would be a lot nicer to have that stuff around when I'm on the train, rather than to be at home to create some beats. I could carry a laptop around, but the those apps are more intuitive and thus a bit handier when "on the road". Also, there's a lot of keyboards (as in instruments) coming out which are compatible with the ipad, up to the point where you can install your ipad in them and integrate the apps on the ipad with the entire instrument. That's kinda cool I think.

It being an Apple product and the more familiar "ipad" brand does work to their advantage for developers I guess. Android has some cool apps as well, but they're more homebrew. Besides, it seems that the Android market only works if you have a phone and not on "non-phone function" tablets. At least, that's what I'm experiencing with mine.

My boyfriend has a Galaxy and an iPad, so I've played around with both. I have to say I like the iPad more - better-looking screen, more apps and more enjoyable to use. Although the Galaxy has some pretty nifty functions like the ability to be used as a phone, and its GPS navigation is pretty good too.
