Hello. I guess I have been recently self-diagnosed with Asperger’s. My wife and I are seeing a marriage therapist who specializes in autism and AS/NT marriages. I’ve learned a lot. I’ve had times of feeling bad about finding out I have AS and I’ve had times of relief. Mostly I’m looking forward to learning how to function better in all my relationships.

Welcome! It's a journey for all of us. It sounds like you have the right attitude and are on the right track.

You are on the right track. That is quite lucky to have found a specialist in the area. Hope they are in fact competent in it. There are many misguided/uniformed/opinionated professionals who think they understand it and do not. They just have developed a useless stereotype one-type-defines-all approach.
