Interests from childhood that you never really got over

I still like to read vintage Nancy Drew books; meaning the ones published between 1929 and 1948, approximately. I also collect them!
 
That did not mean to denigrate anyone here. Give me a box of soldiers in privacy...and my troops will infiltrate the enemy base! Or fight off a large T-REX "holy Heckle & Jyde, our weapons can't penetrate da lizards skin!" Not that I uhm, ah...would ever play with soldiers again.
Never...funny how I never threw my son's soldiers out...wow I have enough firepower, a few tanks, humvee, helicopter and uhm...

Many moons ago I had a cat who would be artillery "smash, bam, scatter!" My soldiers would be scattered to the wind. Gosh I loved that furball.



Got over the toy soldier phase decades ago. But I still read military history
