Applied on the website after watching last night's episode, been watching BD since it was presented by the late "Miss" Cilla Black back in the 80's.

I know the US version "The Dating Game" had a serial killer as a contestant once, when he was (unbeknownst to the producers, I hope) in the middle of a killing spree. He actually won a date with the lady, but she refused to go out with him afterwards.

And plus even on Blind Date in the UK, the couples almost never get on, but I suspect that's partly due to naff date locations in some cases.
 
There was a couple on last week, the date they picked was fishing in Scotland! You what? I couldn't think of anything LESS romantic.
