I like this forum alot, also discord. You can start your own, for free. Its a ez platform for communication, is it safe? No clue. Wordpress is fun too. Then i can see what you wrote and pictures too.
I think the net is very crowded and commercialized. I really like the forum style, and this site is just great. I guess use what works. Happy day

I have a discord and I used to be very active but it can be hard to join conversations. Maybe I just need to step away from the social side of the internet.

That I have not. I know what the hard plastic floppy disks are because we had tons around my house when I was young. The tech was already dated by then but that's what my parents had everything stored on. We must have had boxes worth.

I barely deal with the "social" side of social media. I go to Tumblr and look at various things (mostly queer stuff, anime, video games, books, and neurodiversity stuff) but I don't really know the rules about interacting with people I don't know, so I don't bother. I see something I like, laugh at it, share it with someone I like who's not on Tumblr, and move on.

I have a Facebook account for the sole purpose of keeping in touch with one specific friend (we text too, but it's easier to type on a keyboard than on the phone).

I don't get where a lot of the memes come from, but I can usually figure out what it means through context.
 
I wish I could find an alternative get sick of comments about Christians and jews and vegans, I wish I could contact the Christians that no longer post on this forum .
