How about a hug

It strikes me that a lot of threads have people needing some support and a lot of people click friendly but it doesnt seem to quite fit for me, it would be nice if one the rating options along side "like" "agree" etc was "hug" or "gives support"

We tend to use the heart symbol, as I did in your post, as a 'friendly hug type thing'. Stops the non hugging folk from getting nervous
