Hi, I'm new here. I'm 47 and was diagnosed with Aspergers 2 months ago following another terrible round of depression and suicide attempt. Luckily I made it through and recovering now. I am finding aspergers a double edged sword. Explains my life and problems. Causes many new ones (nearly lost my girlfriend of 7 years and son as a result).

Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting others and hearing how they cope with the various challenges.

Welcome. I'm 49, in close to the same boat as you are. Close enough to pass you an oar if you need one.
