Hi All!

Hello everyone, I'm Nina. I am very new to this sort of community platform so apologies if I'm doing this incorrectly. This is just posted as a little introduction as to why I'm here. A little about me: I am 16 years of age and have up until recently been battling my way through a myriad of mental illness diagnoses. My psychologist, only this week, told me that she and her colleague both believe after having had a meeting about me that I have Asperger's. This notion is a bit of a surprise, having previously never even considered this as a possibility of a contributor to my mental health and exhaustion problems. However, it was presented as likely, and here I am. Best wishes to everyone

There kinda isn't an 'incorrect' way with Aspies. Following standard social procedures is typically not one of our strong points. Nevertheless we generally understand one another pretty well. Hope the forum is a positive experience for you.

Hi Nina welcome. I hope you enjoy it here, there's plenty of useful information and threads to read and respond to. Sounds like it's been tough for you with what you've been up against, but Aspergers is certainly something to be optimistic about I think. A different brain, with different and variable pros and cons compared to neurotypicals. This is a good place to find information, support and ideas .
