Hello I live in the south of England & a parent of a 25yr old daughter who was diagnosed 4yrs ago as having ASD.
as a parent I am finding it extremely difficult to support my daughter who has regular meltdowns usually involving a boyfriend.

Hi and welcome. There's a few parents in the forum that might be able to help, reading a lot of our stories and finding out the different ways in which we have meltdowns and what triggers them might be helpful too.

welcome to af.webp

Welcome! I echo what Outdated mentioned, and I hope you find the forum of help and support.

Hello and welcome! Is there any chance your daughter would want to join the forum? We may be able to help her.

We are always on the same wavelength lol. I was just going to suggest the same thing!

@Thres Your daughter is close in age to a lot of members here (including myself.) I think we would be more than happy to speak with her directly (if she wants to and consents to it.)
