Hello! Here for employment advice etc

Hi everyone,

I joined this forum today mainly because I'm struggling with my income situation and am seeking advice. I am a long-time self-employed mid 30s female on the spectrum. I am creating a thread about this in the Employment section.

We had suspected that I was on the spectrum for a year, and then we were privately informed by a doctor that he suspected I was on the spectrum, and so I bought the book "The Complete Guide to Aspergers" by Tony Attwood, and suddenly my entire life made sense. It was the AHA! moment.

Welcome! I was self employed but found self motivation difficult. I switched to the post office because it fits fairly well with my interests and keeps me from having to interact with people for a large part of the day .

Hi, and Welcome to the Forums! I hope you make new friends and enjoy your stay here in the process!
