Well...here goes introducing myself

Hi, I'm Lophostrix, and I was diagnosed with autism when I was around 3 years old. I just turned 30 this year, and I was just looking to form some connections and maybe be a part of a community. I'm also considering starting a blog about my general experiences with autism and posting it on this site.
My main interest currently is biology, and birds in particular (especially hawks and owls). In fact, I'm likely to find interest in just about anything that features birds prominently (I'm kind of easy to please that way ^^
. I am currently working on my career in ecology and conservation.
Some of my other interests include computer games (especially Minecraft), mystery novels, and D&D.
I hope that's a good enough intro, and I look forward to meeting some new people here.
