Oh MLP stand's for my little pony friendship is magic
I like the MLP:FIM show, but a lot of toxic people find it a way to antagonize people who enjoy watching it. It has gotten to the point it can be unsafe to talk about your enjoyment of the show.

Similarly to Bieber fandom, Twilight the movie fandom, Harry Potter for a while and many others.

Some cultures such as where I live discriminate against adults watching cartoons and Otakus are discriminated against in Japan for example.

If I were you I would stay away from forums like Wrong Planet, I have met such discrimination against cartoons there.

Some ppl look for a fight to exercise their virtue-signalling muscles.

Before I met you I wasn't interested in cartoons at my age.
Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed some of them.
And now I understand some of the references made in The Big Bang Theory.
