Going to have lunch with two NTs

The NT couple living upstairs from me invited me to lunch. They are very nice and I have talked with them several times for short periods. I feel anxious about this although it is no big deal. This is new because I never would have recognized the anxiety I just felt as being connected to anticipating lunch with NTs if I had not been diagnosed last week. I would have felt the anxiety but would have been clueless as to why and where it came from.

I was wrong. They did not invite me to lunch. They offered me a lunch. In other words, they brought a lunch down, gave it to me and left. That was fine, I just misinterpreted their original offer in typical aspie style.

Either way it was a very nice gesture on their part. Saved you from having to cook or order in.
